About Me
Although born in Japan while my father served in the air force, I'm as local a Texan as you can get. My ancestors include the Wimberleys on my father's side & the Pfulgers on my mother's side (Wimberley & Pfulgerville, TX). I grew up on one of the last ranches in the Hays County area.
I am a fly fisherman & former competitive soccer player. I love the outdoors, traveling & exploring uncommon sights, like the old hotel in Mineral Wells.
I worked a variety of jobs before my career in acupuncture, including stints as an admin for juvenile probation, emergency medicine & a resident counselor at Texas School for the Deaf & Blind. My most peculiar employment was for a cabaret theatre in Glacier National Park!
My beautiful wife, Talia, is a well known bluegrass musician who transplanted herself from Manhattan, NY, after working in the Ameri-Corps program. We have two fabulous kiddos Ceila & Sawyer who both just started playing soccer for LYSA & I am excited to be coaching Sawyer's U6 team. Go Lightning!
